Maybelline XXL Pro Curl Mascara - Very Black

I'm always looking for mascaras that are specifically for curling my straight lashes. This one didn't do it unfortunately, even when using an eyelash curler beforehand. The primer itself is ok but when I apply the mascara it just doesn't cover the white of the primer completely. I had to apply too much of the mascara to cover it and by doing that it became clumpy and my lashes were stick straight again. I also find the brush to be too big and the curve really didn't help at all.
