Aeropostale
Aeropostale is an American clothing company that sells casual wear
for tweens, teens, and young adults. Although their official age
range is 8 to 18 the market has drastically matured in the last few
years. The first store was opened in New York City by R.H. Macy
& Co. in 1987. The company's now familiar name is French
for "air mail".
Aerpostale now has 900 stores throughout the U.S, Canada, Dominion
Republic, Puerto Rico, and United Arab Emirates; most stores are
located in shopping malls. You can find this brand in every state
except for Wyoming, Alaska, and Hawaii. Some critics argue
that this brand is a spin off of places like Abercrombie &
Fitch and American Eagle, however they continue to produce quality
clothing at affordable prices with a big demand all its own.
This line produces outerwear, swimwear, tank tops, jeans,
underwear, accessories, and are sold at under $50 dollars.
Its symbol is a small butterfly for the girls' line and a small,
standing bulldog for the guys' line. The line is appealing to all
consumers, parents as well as the kids they buy for, due to the
quality and lower price point.
