Splendid Swimwear
Splendid is the design behind mastermind and entrepreneur Moise
Emquies. Upon becoming a lawyer, Emquies also realized he had a
gift for fashion design and founded his first clothing company,
Leopold. After a ten year exhaustive search for the right
combination of fabrics for his t-shirt collection, Emquies wanted a
name deserving of the quality and design of his hard-earned
efforts. He lovingly labeled the brand Splendid because of its
beauty in designs.
Splendid started as strictly a t-shirt collection, and quickly skyrocketed, expanding its horizons to women’s, men’s and even children’s apparel. Just five years after its start, the Splendid Always collection of soft, clingy fabrics was introduced. The line consisted of a variety of tanks, tubes tops, v-necks, racer backs, and henleys, with casual leggings, shorts and drawstring pants to coincide. Splendid’s line extends to skirts, rompers, hoodies, and jersey cardigans. Splendid has taken the basic t-shirt, and recreated it to be something glamorous and unique. The label also offers a large array of swimwear and beach cover-ups, along with sandals and sunglasses. Splendid’s apparel is always bright and cheerful, never dark and dull. The designers used only the finest fabrics in the most enchanting pastel colors to have you looking classy, without compromising your cuteness.
