Red Carter Swimwear
Red Carter is a line of designer swimwear named after its creator.
Red Carter's designs are imbued with a sense of style and charm
that are very alike to it's creator and this is part of what has
made him such a success. Red was an active swimmer and participated
in many local championships, often times coming out the victor.
After trying his hand at acting he decided his real calling was
design and went to the Otis/Parsons School of Design in Los
Angeles. He worked hard there as well and impressed his professors
very much with his eagerness to learn. Once he graduated, he
started working right away designing junior sportswear for Espirit.
After getting the basics of the business down, Red moved on to
design freelance for companies like Mossimo, Rampage, Guess Jeans,
and Victoria's Secret. While working with all the companies Red
learned as much as he could from some of the industry's biggest
names in design.
Using his knowledge to his advantage he moved down to Miami to
begin work on launching his own line of swimwear. He drew heavy
inspiration from the loud and fast Miami life and the always neon
art-deco style the city has at night. Red released his first line
in 2004 to much acclaim and quickly spread his brand throughout the
nation. Red Carter releases 2 lines of ready-to-wear and men's
swimwear a year and is actively working to increase the amount of
material created every year. You can find Red Carter swimwear for
purchase in high-end department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue,
Bloomingdales, and Nordstrom.
