Hailing from Somerset, Alice Temperley is the founder of Temperley
London, a fashion design company launched in the year 2000.
After graduating from Royal College of Art and Central Saint
Martins, Temperley together with her husband, began set up their
own company, Temperley London. From then on, her career as a
fashion designer started to flourish, making the biggest wave in
the British world of fashion as featured in the American Vogue.
Temperley London fashion is well known for beautiful fabrics and hand finishes. The line produces four collections each year. Her line of apparel includes ready-to-wear dresses, exclusive evening gowns, cocktail dresses, bridal, beach and accessories. Her signature knitted fashions include chain that is woven with yarn, rabbit fur trim, hand-stitched with luxe rosettes, followed by satin-glossed leggings.
With 300 stores in 37 different countries and 4 stand alone boutiques in London, New York, Los Angeles and Dubai, Temperley London’s collections are recognized internationally. In 07’, a Temperley London Bridal store launched an opening in Notting Hill, London, just adjacent to the designer’s own home.
In honor of her dedication and talents, Alice Temperley has recived several awards over the years including one of the Britain’s top 35 female business leaders in the fashion industry.
