Emilio Pucci

Fashion legend Emilio Pucci discovered his talents in fashion design on the slopes of Switzerland, where he designed ski apparel. He got his big break in fashion after his designs were spotted by a Harpers Bazaar photographer, after which he stepped into the elusive world of  high end fashion. Today, his eponymous label is one of high end fashion’s most prominent names, and during his reign as head fashion designer, he has wowed crowds of fashion enthusiasts with his kaleidoscope of dazzling designs. Upon making his debut in the forties, Pucci is a designer who has enamoured a list of historically fashionable women of the sixties, including Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe and Lauren Bacall.

Pucci was a pioneer in his time, creating designs that were modern yet preserving the conservative charm inherent in the current trends of each era. He achieved this by pairing clean silhouettes with geometric or colourful prints, effectively creating a look that is modern without being too contemporary.
