Chanel
There is something about a pair of Chanel sunglasses and a spritz
of Chanel No. 5 that just makes a girl feel absolutely fabulous.
The Chanel couture trend started in the early 1900's by fashionista
and stylist Coco Gabrielle Chanel. In 1910, Coco opened a small
boutique in Paris, France, where she sold her hand-made hats. By
1913, she had broadened her apparel to sportswear and resort-wear.
Chanel's style had an elegant, glamorous look about it that had not
been seen before in the 20th century fashion industry.
Over the years, Chanel has become one of the most recognized
fashion labels in the world. Chanel has broadened their line to
more than just amazing clothing. Today, you can mix sexy with
sophisticated Chanel handbags, flats, and other breathtaking
accessories. In 1971, Chanel became the first fashion label to
introduce a ready-to-wear clothing line. Shortly after, the Chanel
No. 5 perfume hit the shelves and sales skyrocketed. One of
Chanel's original signature styles which has remained popular
throughout the years is the traditional Chanel suit with the nipped
waist cardigan jacket. Chanel also has an exclusive line of
cosmetics from skin care to make up.
In the words of Coco Chanel, "a girl should always be two things:
classy and fabulous."
