Minkoff is now an established designer for handbags among the stars
and women all around the world. Born in San Diego,
California, Rebecca’s passion for art of design and sewing
started at a young age of 8. Her passion for design clothing
led her to becoming a designer at the age of 18 and in 2001, she
launched her first clothing line. Noticing her great talent for
designs, her good friend and actress, Jenna Elfman encouraged her
to design a handbag for an upcoming movie and then there was no
turning back on her handbags. This was the time her
collection of handbags including the “Morning After”
Bag was born.
