Michael Kors is the all-American designer whose collections
are a byword for uptown chic, and whose fans include the likes of
Gwyneth Paltrow, Aerin Lauder and Michelle Obama - who chose an
elegant black shift dress for her first official White House
portrait. Kors launched his eponymous line in 1981 and his
uber-luxe, meticulously tailored sportswear instantly
