Juicy Couture Handbags
Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor founded Juicy Couture in
1994, in Pacomia and originally called their line Travis Jeans
selling only sold maternity pants. The two designers decided
to change the name in 1996 to what we all know and love as Juicy
Couture, they revolutionized the fashion world with the
introduction of the track suit, the piece that the company is most
known for. They were instantly recognized when they sent
their track suit with "Madge" on the bum of the pants, and an
immediate success. The tracksuits come in an array of
different colors made of velour, terry cloth, fleece, or
cashmere. In 1999, they introduced jeans to the collection as
well as clothing for men and children in 2002.
As time went on they also decided to introduce swimwear and
accessories for women, including shoes and jewelry. The brand is
marketed as a high-end clothing line at an affordable prices, and
is geared towards women ages ten to twenty six. The company was
sold to Liz Claiborne for 258 million dollars, and manufactured in
Arleta California. The items are manufactured with the
signature logo, two highland terriers holding a shield bearing
three hearts and Love G&P. A crown lies above, while a Juicy
Couture banner flutters below the underline slogan, “Made in
the Glamorous USA.”
