Raven
Raven Denim was established in New York in 2004, but at that time
the manufacturing took place in L.A. Then Kris Park came along and
took the reins of this denim line in the Winter of 2008. Raven is
now designed and manufactured in California.
Park brought his twenty years experience in producing high-end denim, including Raven Denim. A year later, in 2009, Ya-el Torbati, an L.A. based designer, joined the team as the lines new creative director. Torbati, brought her nine years of experience to the table at Raven, this includes being founding designer of Yanuk Jeans in 2002, and also founding designer and part owner of Deener Denim. Raven Denim are most recognized for introducing The Mackenzie jean to the world.
This style of jean has an impeccable cut pulled together by a unique yoke back and special details such as the the striped cotton interior cotton waistband and leather buttons! With Ya-el's attention to detail, vintage aesthetic, and knowledge of fit the line is headed towards a new decade of denim that is sure to create sophisticated and timeless pieces everyone can appreciate. Raven is also launching a men's line of denim, that offers quality and a new standard for men's jeans!
