MiH
It was inevitable that Chloe Lonsdale would be the designer of MiH
Jeans. Her father Tony Lonsdale, often referred to as the "Blue
Jean King", started out by selling jeans from a shop on King Street
in London, and turned the business into the legendary Jean Machine
stores. Jean Machine stores are the reason we know denim as the
essential it is today. Her mother Chekkie Lonsdale, was a top denim
fashion model during the 70's and her godfather launched Made in
Heaven in 1969.
It was named this because they had only one goal; to provide the
most perfect fitting, bum enhancing, leg lengthening jeans around.
Chloe made up her mind in her teen years that she would take over
MiH jeans, and went on to receive a fashion degree from Central St.
Martins, and also had additional training a Nicole Fahri. She took
the brand over at only 25 and now the brand continues to grow, from
her constant inspiration of the city of London.
This style is for the carefree city girl, with the breeze in her
hair, and has somewhere exciting and fun to go. The style of
jean invokes the feeling of old world, but with a new hip twist
that is appealing to a majority of "it" girls!
