The creative director and co-founder of J Brand, Susie Crippen, who knows and understands how jeans are suppose to look and feel on a woman. Jeff Rudes, a denim manufacturer, teamed up with Crippen, a celebrity stylist at the time, to make classy and sophisticated jeans. They wanted the main focus of the design and production of their jeans to be fit. They did not want to concentrate on hardware and embellishments, but chose to have a more focused approach on detailed stitching and having a clean finish.
J Brand makes ever style of jean imaginable, including skinny jeans, cigarette jeans, ankle skinny jeans, pencil leg jeans, straight leg jeans, boot cut, and bell bottom jeans. Various styles in the line are available in three rises; mid-rise, low-rise, and high-rise or classic fit jeans. J Brand jeans also come in a range of colors including indigo, white, gray, or black.
The line launched in 2005 and since then celebrities like Beyonce, Angelina Jolie have been spotted wearing these trendy J Brand jeans.
