7 for All Mankind
Who doesn't love a great pair of jeans? Even better, who doesn't
love a pair of great-fitting jeans made from the finest fabric with
the perfect denim finish? In the year 2000 in Los Angeles, Peter
Koral, Michael Glasser, and Jerome Dahan broke the mold when they
launched a ground-breaking brand of denim known today as "7 For All
Mankind."
When the brand (often simply referred to as "Seven Jeans") hit the
scene, celebrities, young women and fashion buffs went crazy. 7 For
All Mankind denim introduced a premier line of jeans unlike what
anyone had seen before, with new washes, finishes, fits, and cuts,
thereby opening the doors to the nation's exploding love for unique
denim. Seven was the first denim line to introduce the popular
low-rise style which became part of the "size zero" trend, which
targeted young women who were smaller than a size one.
When the designers first launched the brand, the clothing line was
strictly men and women's denim jeans. Over the years, however, 7
For All Mankind has broadened its line to sportswear, kids' wear,
handbags, and even 7 For All Mankind shoes (including 7 For All
Mankind sandals). In 2002, they launched a trendsetting line of
women's denim that became popular with some of Hollywood's leading
ladies, such as Jenifer Garner and Cameron Diaz. The line
introduced new cuts like the bootcut and the flare leg.
All of the brand's jeans feature a signature 7 For All Mankind logo
stitched onto the back pocket, but it is not always the same. Some
Seven jeans feature v-shaped embroidery, while others simply have a
stitched number 7. The brand's pocket styles and designs vary, but
there is no doubt you can always tell a pair of 7 For All Mankind
from other brands. Today, the clothing line can be found on many
websites and online marketplaces as well as retail clothing stores
and fashion boutiques worldwide, with 11 standalone retail stores
internationally.
