Moschino Cheap & Chic
Moschino Cheap & Chic is one of the labels under the Moschino
fashion brand, founded by the late Franco Moschino. Although this
line was launched back in 1988, Moschino was already a well known
individual in the fashion industry. He often mocked the job of a
clothing designer and explained that he was more interested in
studying the psychological aspect of fashion.
With Moschino’s unique take on fashion, his clothing lines
reflected his playfulness. Even Moschino himself called his clothes
“tacky”, but this certainly didn’t keep him out
of the world of designer fashion. Till this day, the Cheap &
Chic line is known for its rich and playful colors and eccentric
designs. And while the label name may suggest affordability,
Moschino Cheap & Chic is a luxury brand that showcases stylish,
cutting-edge fashion.
What sets Moschino dresses and skirts apart from other designer
brands is that they have a head-turning quality that leaves you
guessing whether they are a work of art or the next trendsetter.
Although Cheap & Chic clothing isn’t quite as eccentric
as it once was, they still continue to use energetic and youthful
colors that have shock appeal while walking down the street.
During the Fall 2010 Moschino Cheap & Chic fashion show, the
models strutted down the runway in ankle-length boots. Moschino is
certainly no stranger to the shoe market, as their over-the-knee
boots that were launched in 2007, are still a popular trend.
Another addition to the fashion world are the Henry Oxford shoes,
which feature a classic, two-toned oxford design accented with
oversized bows.
Whether it is silliness, playfulness or a work of art, Moschino
Cheap & Chic is designer fashion at its best.
