Lela Rose
Lela Rose is a ladies clothing designer who knows how to balance
taste with high fashion. Lela Rose defines her wedding line with
fairytale intentions by adding hand-adorned appliqués and
embellishments. Her collections are characterized as
“classical silhouettes with a whimsical twist”. With an
amazing magnetic ability, she sets her style apart with seasonally
updated attire.
Her tutelage began at the University of Colorado. Lela Rose with aspiring dreams headed for New York City to be in the heart of high fashion design. Lela Rose attended the Parson School of Design where she graduated in 1993, and from there she became an apprentice under well-known designers Christian Francis Roth and Richard Tyler. The rest is designer history with Rose setting the catwalk on fire when her inspired Lela Rose collection began in 1998. The collection featured casually attired pants, tops, dresses and jackets. Rose then expanded in the Fall of 2006 with the Lela Rose Wedding Collection, becoming every bride’s storybook dream come true. In 2007 partnering with Payless Shoes, she created functional Lela Rose for Payless footwear that advanced her toward a more mainstream appeal with the unique ‘Unforgettable Moments’ line of fabric dyed shoes. There is no sign of Lela Rose slowing down, her multiple collections are available worldwide and her shoes are exclusive to Payless.
