L.A.M.B.
L.A.M.B. is a designer fashion line that was launched by Gwen
Stefani, the lead singer of the band No Doubt. L.A.M.B. is an
acronym for Love. Angel. Music. Baby., the title of Stefani’s
first solo album. Although this clothing line was launched less
than a decade ago in 2003, it is one of the hottest designer
fashion lines on the market. L.A.M.B. was an instant success and
Stefani was well accepted into the fashion world, as she had her
own unique sense of style and fashion. In fact, Stefani came from a
family of seamstresses, and she would often make her own costumes
for her concerts.
L.A.M.B. clothing is influenced by a variety of cultures, including
Japanese and Indian. Although the clothing line showcases
Stefani’s unique sense of style, the clothes are
uncomplicated and feminine. The current line of clothes features
loose fitting capris and shorts, as well as trendy jackets and
hoodies. The clothes are often accented in simple, yet
sophisticated buttons, clasps, buckles and zippers and they
incorporate neutral colors, such as white, grey and black.
One of the unique appeals to this designer fashion line is that it
has a promotional style like no other: Stefani’s music. This
popular singer often promotes her clothing line in the lyrics of
her songs, and she too can be found wearing many of her own
clothes. From handbags, to shoes, to her fragrance called
“L”, Stefani brings creativity and individuality to her
designs, which are not only trendy, but have a hip-hop quality as
well. L.A.M.B. clothes can be found at upscale retail chains and
have a huge following, including Teri Hatcher and Paris Hilton.
