The dynamic duo is at it again with the launching of their new
collection, DSquared. Brothers Dean and Dan Caten are fashion
designers from Canada, who have a unique and inventive approach on
trendsetting fashion. With plenty of experience under their belts,
the brothers’ collection, DSquared, offers trendy apparel for
both men and women. The clothing rivals that of a glam rock style,
fused with an outdoorsy edge. Some of DSquared’s signature
pieces include black leather biker jackets lined in fur, or washed
denim jeans with embroidered seams. Currently, DSquared has a
limited collection of women’s clothing, including embroidered
denim jeans, tailored jackets and flirty tees.
Dean and Dan Caten are best known for their wild fashion shows that exude a vibrant and fun energy. It is this same liveliness that is seen in the brothers’ designs, which never fail to be fun and unique. Some of DSquared’s avid followers include rocker musicians Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and Rihanna. In fact, Madonna ordered 150 pieces from DSquared for her 2002 Drowned World Tour. In 2007, the brothers opened a DSquared boutique in Milan that offers a fun shopping experience for customers, equipped with an impressive champagne bar. DSquared apparel can also be found at upscale retailers, and has expanded its collection to include fragrances and eyewear.
